The Marifa Vision Program

After your application has been received along with the upload reading evaluation file, it will be evaluated, where after successful applicants will be called in for a final interview along with their Parent/Guardian.

The Vision Program is aimed at boys and girls from the age of 8 onwards who are able to read the Qur’an and have a foundational understanding of the English language. To ensure that all students can cope with this program each student must successfully complete The Vision Prep-Program before commencing with The Vision Program.

The Purpose of the Prep-Program is to equip the learners with the basic theoretical Tajweed rules and application as well as a basic foundation of Qur’anic language and grammar. The program extends over a period of 1 year, divided into early morning Qur’an recitation (From 5:00am to 6:30am) and Basic Qur’anic Arabic in the afternoon (From 3:30pm to 5:00pm) based on the seasons.

The requirements of this program are as follows:

1. Childs ability to recite the Qur’an.
2. Childs Eloquence in understanding instructional English language as a learning medium.
3. Commitment and Dedication from the parents to ensure the Vision

     Prep-Program rules are adhered to at all times.

During the Vision Prep-Program, the students are also required to memorize the entire Juz Amma with Tajweed as well as various common Surahs.

Upon completion of the Vision Prep-Program, students abilities are individually assessed to progress into the Vision Program and only successful students will be enrolled for the vision program

Along with the memorization of the Noble Qur’an (Hifz), learners are taught the Vocabulary and the Grammar of the Qur’an (Arabic) over a period of 3 years, with an average of 10 Juz being memorized every year.

Compared to the prep class, the Vision Program entails separate classes for male and female students. During the 3 years of study, the students are equipped with intermediate and advanced Arabic grammar skills that will enable them to navigate through Arabic Classical texts.

Classes will be conducted from 8am to 12pm during week days and 8am to 10am on Saturdays. An important requirement of adhering to the Marifa Vision Program Calendar during the period of study is very essential.

Only learners who have completed the Marifa Vision Prep-Program will be granted access to this program.
